I have been taking photos since I was 18 and have been photographing weddings & elopements for the past 5 years. The people like YOU that I get to work with make this job an absolute dream. I feel so grateful to be in a career that I love this much!

My Approach
This is not a business agreement. This is a collaboration. A relationship. That is where the real magic happens.
I know it sounds a little cheesy but we are all going to become real friends, so that I am not just a stranger following you around all day with a camera. Having been on both sides of the experience, I know the magic happens when we are all super comfortable with each other. My main focus above everything else is to make sure my couples are having a good time. Most of the people I work with say they hate having their photos taken because they feel awkward, and by the end they say how enjoyable it was. Photos don’t have to be this uncomfortable experience, it can actually be a really fun time.
Photography is the one thing that lasts beyond your elopement day. Photographs are only going to increase in value over time as they get passed down through generations. I completely understand that you have a budget to stick to and how expensive elopements can become, but photography is something you want to go all in for.
I will be here to help you all along the way. With years of experience I can help you with timelines, create memories with your friends and families and get the most out of your day. I am here to make this experience as stress free as possible and give you a safe space to be yourselves!

Engagement Sessions
I always recommend booking an engagement session with me! It is a perfect time for us to get to know one another so I feel like an old friend on your wedding day. It is also a great opportunity for you two to get comfortable in front of the camera! We have more flexibility with lighting conditions as we are able to shoot during sunrise or sunset. We can go up the mountain for sunrise or walk through the valley for sunset.

Night Before Coverage
Whether you are gathering around a bonfire for dinner, playing games on the beach, taking your dogs for a walk or sharing drinks and stories around the table, kicking off your wedding weekend is where so many memories are made. It is the perfect time to capture laid back candids of your closest friends and family being themselves. Plus it gives me the opportunity to meet everyone beforehand so they’re more comfortable in front of the camera on your big day! Let me know what you’ve got planned for you wedding weekend and how we can incorporate this into documenting your story.

Day After Coverage
Your wedding day may likely be one of the only times you'll have all your people in one place together, you should be present with them and saver every moment of it. Instead of taking you away for an hour of your wedding day for portraits, we save that for a session the day after. I'II of course still grab a few photos of just you two on the wedding day, but this way we can feed two birds with one scone. You get to soak up all the magic of your wedding day and have a stress free shoot with no time crunch. It also helps give us the chance to shoot beyond your venue in a beautiful location during golden hour.

If you need an extra hour added onto your coverage, whether its during booking or the day of. Sometimes things run behind schedule, you don't need to be stressed about a time crunch on my behalf. I'll capture all of it!
Recommended if you'd like to have coverage of after party, breakfast in the morning together, or if you don't want to be stressed about the timeline running a little behind!

Having a mixture of film and digital is such a fun way to bring a timeless twist into your photos.
These often end up becoming my clients (and my) favourite photos from the day. There's something so special about film that's hard to explain, almost like comparing listening to a song in your headphones vs hearing it come out of an old jukebox.
Rush Gallery Turnaround
$800
My editing turnaround time is 4 weeks, but if you'd like all your photos back the week of your elopement this is a great option. Since you are planning an elopement or a small ceremony and you can't have all your people attending, this can help make them feel like they were there with you. Receive your entire gallery back within 7 calendar days of your ceremony day!

An adventure elopement is an intentionally-planned wedding ceremony, in a beautiful outdoor landscape, with a minimalist guest list, and an emphasis on experience.

Within 72 hours after the elopement you will receive web resolution sneak peek images to share online with friends and family. Your full online gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks of the ceremony date.

The number of images I deliver varies but I will always include plenty of everything I capture. I deliver a minimum of 50 images an hour but I focus on quality of images rather than a specific amount. It is an honour to capture such a significant milestone in your lives and I put a lot of energy into making sure you can relive the memories fully!

A 50% non-refundable, non-transferable reservation retainer is due at the time of booking. The full balance is due 30 days prior to the ceremony date.

There is beauty in every weather. Clouds act as a diffuser to create soft, flattering lighting, rain covers the greenery with a glistening sheen, snow transforms the landscape into a winter wonderland and sun provides amazing light to play with.

Dress for the weather and check the conditions because they are always changing. Be over prepared and bring more than you need, you can always leave an extra layer with me. Sensible shoes are the number one item to remember! You don’t want to limit yourself to where you can go or your level of comfort because of your choice of footwear.

The Booking Process
Just in case you haven’t booked a lot of professional photographers before this is a little breakdown of how it all works.
Planning an elopement can be overwhelming but I am here to make your life easier and make the planning process as smooth as possible!
STEP 1:
After looking through this price guide we can organize a short 15 minute facetime to get to know one another! This is a casual no pressure chat so that we can meet face to face. You can ask me any and all of your questions about working with me and you can tell me about your dreams for your day.
After getting to know one another it is time to make your date official! I will send you a contract to sign and a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your date. The non refundable part is pertaining to if you decide to cancel your session all together. But, if for whatever reason you need to change the date of your session we will just move that deposit to a new date that works for all of us.
STEP 2:
After the contract and invoice are completed the date will be secured and we can work together to create your dream day! I will be there to answer any and all of your questions and help you throughout the planning process. I can help you with timelines, vendor recommendations, location ideas and everything else you can think of! This is also a great time to create a pinterest or mood board so I can see exactly what kind of vibe you are dreaming of.
STEP 3:
Time for the big day! I will be there every step of the way capturing the big and small moments and everything in between.
Five days after your elopement I will send along 10-20 sneak peek photos. You can share these with anyone and everyone!
STEP 4:
Six weeks after your big day I will send along your high resolution elopement gallery. I always recommend sitting down to look through the gallery the first time together on a computer (or really anything bigger then an iphone). You can even grab a glass of wine or a cup of tea and take time reminiscing on your day. The gallery has a print store connected to it so you can order all of your high quality prints and albums from there. To me, photographs are not complete until they are printed! There is something so special about having a printed copy of your favourite photos to bring you back to memories.
