Evan's Lake Wedding in Squamish

This wedding was an absolute blast! Emily and Dave planned a festival themed wedding at Evans Lake with their closest family and friends. I have to say I love camp weddings. The vibe is super relaxed and I find everyone is able to really spend time together since they stay there for multiple days! Their day started off with the girls getting ready in a cute cabin, drinking champagne and spending time together, while the boys got dressed in one of the camp cabins. We then met up and Emily & Dave did their first look in the mossy forest behind the camp. It is so beautiful there with tons of walking trails. We then took a few bridal party photos and they were so much fun.

Emily & Dave’s ceremony was nestled in the forest down the path on the way to the lake. Along the way were printed photos hanging from strong from their years together as a couple. You could tell they have done so much and have created such a lovely network of friends. Their ceremony was officiated by one of their friends and he did an incredible job. I laughed, I cried and you could tell how much he cared about them. We then went beside the lake under a big willow tree to talk a few family photos which was followed by dinner. Emily & Dave planned a pre dinner dance which I had never heard of before. After dinner the dance party really turned up as well. These two brought a trunk full of costumes and it was hilarious seeing how into it all of their guests were.

I truly had the best time photographing this wedding and Evan’s Lake was the perfect place for them.
