Autumn Wedding in Pemberton

J&H got married in the Pemberton valley in BC at the Drumkeeran House surrounded by their friends and families. The air was crisp and the scenery breathtaking on this late October day. Fall weddings in BC are magical as the lighting is soft and glowy. It was the perfect day for an intimate wedding ceremony, where their closest people came together to celebrate J&H’s relationship.

The simplicity of a mountain wedding in Pemberton brings forth a sense of intimacy that is unmatched. Having the land to ourselves created the perfect private space for their ceremony. The backyard of the Drumkeeran House in Pemberton backs onto a little lake with trees and mountains all around.

J&H included all of their loved ones in their ceremony in the most unique way. Every single person there had a moment to speak and describe what love meant to them. It was such a lovely way to have everyone feel special and important to them and hear their unique answers.

The details from the day were perfect for Pemberton in October with a rustic and cozy warmth. Following the ceremony J,H and I snuck away to enjoy the sunset over Mt. Currie. It was so much fun running around in the late afternoon sunshine taking some of my favourite photographs.

We returned to the cabin and were met with snacks and home made coctails. I spent some time chatting with J&H’s families and felt so much warmth from everyone.

This was such a special day and I am so happy I was able to photograph it!
