Sea to Sky Elopement

Courtney and Eric reached out to me in August to photograph their elopement at the end of September. It wasn’t a legal ceremony just a day spent celebrating their relationship by going to some of their favourite places. These two met in fell in love in Denver and then moved to Seattle together. They love all of the mountain adventures including snowboarding and skiing. They came to Squamish last year to ski in Whistler and fell in love with the location! Since Squamish is one of my favourite places to photograph I jumped at the idea of finding a mossy forest, beach by the ocean and mountain top for their elopement. We started off a forest that is very special to me. The lighting was perfect and the river was crystal clear. Courtney and Eric read private vows to one another by the creek and then we wandered through the forest together. Afterwards we headed to Furry Creek to run along the beach together. The sun came out behind them and it created the most stunning lighting! After leaving the beach we headed up to Jurassic Ridge for a few photos looking over the Howe Sound.

I can never believe what amazing couples I get to work with! These two were so much fun to spend the afternoon with and I am so in love with the photos we took together.
