Squamish Elopement at Sitka Farms

Ashley & Tom were married the summer of 2021 at Anderson Lake in BC. Due to an unfortunate event involving a candle the couple did not end up with many photographs of them from their day. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to bring the couple out to Sitka Farms to re do their photos. We were lucky to have Senka Florist provide a beautiful floral bouquet and Kerry Waring do an amazing job with hair and makeup.

Sitka farms is a little farm located down the Squamish Valley Road. It is a beautiful location surrounded by mountains and mossy forests. We walked with the couple through the forest path down towards the river behind the farm. The Squamish forests are some of my favourite places to photograph as there are so much foliage to shoot through. Squamish is covered with mossy trees and beautiful rivers running through the valley and I love bringing couples to these kinds of environments! This is often where I feel most creative and at home surrounded by ferns and alder trees.

Sitka Farms also is home to many animals and we were able to pick up a chicken and a goat to get a few photos with Ashley & Tom. Such a fun day with these two in Squamish!
