Whistler Snow Cat Elopement

Audrey & Brandon planned a small elopement in Whistler with a few of their closest family members this winter. With covid restrictions and a very cold weather forecast they decided to postpone their original date in December. The Whistler Wedding Pastor, Jeremy, and I were very worried about the -25 degree so were pleased to have the date change. The date was postponed to March 5th and ended up being the most beautiful sunny and warm day. It was so warm Audrey was just wearing a dress and was comfortable in the sunshine.

The Snow Cat brought us up Whistler Blackcomb to a beautiful lookout over the valley. The sun was just peaking up over the trees through Audrey and Brandon’s ceremony. Afterwards the couple and their families stood in the sunshine around the fire and enjoyed champagne. We took a few photos in the area and then hopped back into the cat to drive down to the river. One of my favourite things about snow cat elopements is the relaxed feeling of the day. We had so much time in each spot to take pictures and enjoy the view. It was also completely private and felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves.

I feel grateful for such a beautiful day on Whistler Blackcomb with Audrey and Brandon!
