Sunshine Coast Wedding

Last summer I was in Tofino with some friends on a surf trip. After getting out of the water we went to get ice cream and ended up running into Bryan & Brianna. My friends had gone to high school with Bryan & Brianna and introduced me. They had just gotten engaged only 20 minutes before and we were some of the first people to find out! I actually knew they were engaged before most of their family.

They reached out to me to photograph their wedding and I was so excited! I love the ocean and having the opportunity to work a wedding by the water is really special. Bryan & Brianna got married at the YMCA camp Elphinstone on the Sunshine Coast. The camp is a really beautiful location with a rocky shoreline and lush forests. The ceremony was nestled in the trees beside the ocean and they were surrounded by close friends and family. I felt so welcomed with all of the guests at the wedding and had a wonderful time working with Bryan & Brianna. I ended up staying at the camp with everyone and dancing with them all until late into the night. We ended the evening swimming in the ocean with most of the guests and the bridal party. I am really grateful these two reached out to me to photograph their wedding!
